Will Smith Quotes

Will Smith is a living legend. He is one of my favorite actors and possibly my most favorite actor. Unfortunately I don't think he does enough movies. It's been a while since we've seen him in anything. That's why I'm so psyched for Men In Black 3 to come out next year. Not only has he brought great humour into his work, but also a lot of depth and drama. He’s good in comedies, dramas, action films, anything you name it, he can do it. Which brings me to my next point, Will Smith is a “Can-do” type of person. He sets his mind on something and he goes for it, and he’s not afraid to reach out to the rest of the world and inspire us with his wisdom and endless motivation. There have been dozens and dozens of interviews with Will Smith and he always says very inspirational things but very exciting things as well. He makes you want to get up and do something. Or maybe sit down and write that book you’ve always wanted to write. If you want to be a professional basketball player one day, then what are you waiting for? Get out there and practice. What ever the things are in life that interest you the most, then pursue them. If you’re not sure what those things are then explore new hobbies, activities, and interests. And Will Smith says that we need to believe that we can do, and believe that we will do. Because I think that what he says is awesome I'm going to periodically quote him. I hope that you will be not only enlightened like I have been, but also ignited to do something about it. Let me use an unfortunate scenario to illustrate a great point. Imagine a mountain with lots of trees and shrubbery. Now realize that all it takes to burn down that whole mountain of foliage is a single flame. However, a single flame will soon be, if not immediately extinguished on a snow covered mountain or one that is coated with rain drops. What I am saying is that if we want the fire within us to thrive, we must find flammable substances or things that motivate us to be creative and make the world around us a better place. So, let the energy and motivation of others motivate you.

The Hulkverine

No one will ever forget the incredible cataclysmic event that gave birth to the monster known as The Hulkverine. Forged from the combined D.N.A of the Incredible Hulk and Wolverine, this monster is 7'8" tall, and weighs nearly 1400 lbs. The Hulkverine retains partial memories of both Dr. Bruce Banner and the man known as Wolverine. Once created, this creature scoured the earth lonely, angry and confused. He swept through the streets of downtown New York virtually unstopped. He single handedly put 302 policeman, and 46 civilians in the hospital. 15 of them he literally threw into the hospital building. Many heroes tried to stop him but the likes of the Fantastic Four, the X-men, and the Avengers were all defeated and badly wounded at his hands. Some villains, such as the Rhino, made the unfortunate attempt to try and join him. The government offered a $100 million dollar reward to a team comprised of the Juggernaut, Sandman, Abomination, and Doctor Doom to take the Hulkverine down. All four of them were severely pulverized in 7 and a half minutes. After 3 days the monster was finally thwarted by the teaming up of Professor Xavier, Reed Richards, The Hulk, Wolverine and Chuck Norris. Hulk, Chuck and Wolverine battled and distracted the beast until Reed got his suped up brain control device onto the Hulkverine, after which Xavier used his power combined with the machine to put the Hulkverine into a peaceful comatose state of being. Subject: Hulkverine currently resides at SHIELD labs where he is fed a regular IV of Ambien and Benadryl.

Is X-men 4 a possibility?

Let me answer this with a question of my own. Is there any movie franchise impossible to resurrect? Now, we all know that with the right gears set in motion there could very well be an X-men 4, but would it appease the fans. Before I share with you my ideas for a great mutant story let me share with you my own X-men movies experience. When the first movie came out I loved it. Although there were several changes from the comics it was still a brilliant adaptation. X-2 was a successful step up which left me reeling for more. Fast forward from there and we arrive on a clear night in May 26, 2006 the opening night of the third and thus far latest movie X-men The Last Stand. In the theater we find two superhero diehards (my cousin and I) waiting anxiously in their seats for time to turn over from 11:59. And yes one of these guys had dyed his hair black and had it done up by his aunt to look like wolverine, and yes that guy was me. I was shocked to see Cyclops die, especially so soon, and even more shocked to see Professor Xavier die. By the time Jean died I had pretty much figured that would be the case. Over time I have come to accept that this movie universe is vastly different from the original comics, and has it's own good qualities. I have to say though that in the future they can still do more to stick to the comics while creating a good movie. Now without further blabber, I present to you my plot ideas. In the last chaotic episode of X-men there were several mutants treated (willingly or unwillingly) with the cure. Among them was the ever-loving Rogue. In the comics there is an awesome plot line where all of the abilities of her past victims begin to manifest in her all at once. Rogue has always been one of my favorite characters among many great characters. Her struggles with having to withhold from touching other people is something that resonates with our heartstrings, and her strong southern will and attitude provide entertainment as well as inspiration. Anna Paquin has done a great job, but hasn't seen enough screen time for this character to fully develop. The way the movie ended with her being able to touch Bobby, and then Magneto being able to slightly move the chess piece leads me to believe that an idea like this may already be in the works. It works perfectly with the struggle we've seen Rogue go through, so far only in pieces.
